well at the end of the day, i have to admit

and at the end of the day, i didnt have much
just my booze and tv shows and computer games and stuff
but now i feel like i have so much more than that
dancing to the rhythm of the beat like an acrobat

at least i dont feel spiked or cold anymore
i feel kind of soft, and i feel a little warm

theres no way to win it if you're fighting things
there are so many more problems that such actions bring
you're not going with any flows, you're not rocking to the beat
you're just hitting your head against a wall oh yeah, so try not to scream
the only thing im fighting is demons
the weapons im using are thoughts and feelings
and im going to figure out how to banish these things
before i lose my mind from the things that fighting brings
when you're fighting against things, you arent becoming the moment
when you're arguing your case against the world you're just someone to forget
theres no way to win it if you're fighting things
there are so many more problems that such actions bring

the riffs have hardened, but the man has softened
and its just too much fun to rock to the beat
im having fun with this, something i do often
but this time im doing death metal!

im a little bit confused as to how i explain this
certainly, maybe, screaming is the wrong medium
but at least it helps to overcome the tedium, yeah
i just feel as if theres something lifted
something i was recently gifted
something that came with a great deal of loss
something that tore the universe across
